Birthday: December 09, 1950
Occupation: Medical Speech Pathologist Marital Status: Married Comments: I am so excited about this reunion even though I still stay in contact with many of my girlfriend classmates. Thanks, John for the suggestions on how to spruce up --maybe you could sponsor a 'botox bucks ' bucket so all of us in need could look a little less than 57. I'll be first on the list. My husband Michael and I are still enjoying racing cars, fly fishing and travelling. We will be attending the Formula One Race in Montreal in June. See you all at the reunion and I'll be sure to keep the sunglasses on (unless John comes through). |

Birthday: April 17, 1950
Occupation: Former English/French teacher and computer programmer Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Comments: First of all, a big thank you to everyone on the reunion committee for their extraordinary work. How to sum up 40 years? I graduated from San Diego State with a double major in English and French. With no job prospects in sight, I travelled and worked in Europe, mostly France, and then returned to the U.S. to get my teaching degree. After five years as a high school teacher in Longview, Washington, I went back to school to study computer programming in Seattle. There I met my husband of 23 years, Seth Arlow, an anesthesiologist. We have two children, one Golden retriever and two cats. We've done some travelling - Europe, Nepal, Thailand, Mexico and Canada, but would love to do more during our retirement years. Unfortunately, we have travel plans for July and won't be able to make the reunion. Perhaps we'll see you for the 50th. Have fun! |

Occupation: Project Mgr.
Marital Status: Married Comments: Hi all, I had a great time at the reunion. Sign me up for the 45th! I continued in the entertainment business as a Musician, DJ, Audio Engineer and Disco designer until it finally took it's toll, The party ended in the early 90s. Friends tell me I had fun, I will have to take their word for it.
Since then I have changed careers and now work in the Security field for the Air Force and Army (who would have thought!) Turns out I should have taken Electronics instead of Auto Shop and Band in High School, Oh well! I have traveled to 16 Countries, 48 states and Hundreds of cities since the 70s. I still travel 300 days a year for the Military. Life has been really different for me but I wouldn't change a thing! I hope more people participate in this web site and attend the reunion.
I wish everyone a long and Happy life! Dean |

Birthday: December 01, 1950
Occupation: Merchant Marine Officer Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Comments: Classmates! We’ve returned from that whirlwind trip back in Time and are once again settling into routine. Drat! The daily parade goes on as before– I knew that it would – but I still can’t get the first week of July out of my mind. The memories, the faces, remembering and being remembered - the experience was all that I hoped it to be, except, perhaps, in now wishing for such a marvelous event to be held more often. An encore at Year 45?? You bet. I will never again miss the opportunity to physically share the stage with you wizened survivors and veterans of the world! Truth be told, my feelings at this point are such that I would expend all energies to be in attendance for a 44th, 42nd, or even a 40 and 7/16th Reunion of the CHS Class of 1968. In reluctantly understanding the more practical aspects of our lives, however, I do bow to reality. Without a span in between, I suppose, the event loses some of its special qualities. Struggling to make sure that I don’t entirely lose the recent jump-start applied to my spirit, though, there is something further I can do to coax the euphoria into sticking around. Just as Gwen O’Toole’s gentle dare led to my participations – albeit slow, cold, and in obvious decline - in the Rough-Water and Alumni water-polo activities, there seems to me, then, to be a chance to use that very same tactic to my benefit. Folks, Laura and I DARE you – each and every one of you – to consider visiting with us some day, one-on-one, Mano-y-Mano, in our beautiful Northwest setting. I figure that if I have again braved 58-degree water in a Speedo, your venture up into these spectacular Wilds is not asking too much. And I can PROMISE you that the physical ramifications will not be NEARLY as drastic. In ending, please accept my sincere Thanks for the Coronado occurrences in which it has been my distinct privilege and pleasure playing a part. I’m left wondering now at how to follow up on those unforgettable acts. Having said that, let’s just leave a repeat of incidents involving paper products, the trees on Sacred Heart property, and the police, out of our options, shall we???! I’m really not up for any more retributions from dark nuns highly trained in methods of the Requisition. May the futures of you and yours be blessed by the Entity of your choice, Friends. I WILL see you again. Rick & Laura, Brian & Kyle Beede 3132 Black Jack Trail Sedro Woolley, WA 98384 (360) 595-2387

Occupation: real estate investments Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 Comments: Looking forward to seeing everybody! A LOT has happened in 40 years, but I'm enjoying every day back here in Coronado. I'm still married to Randy Bent (CHS '67) - we moved back here in 1979, and have enjoyed lots of travelling over the years. I also enjoy moving and renovating houses - we are presently in out 10th house in Coronado, with another renovation and move looming in the near future! Hey, some people collect stamps, I collect houses! Our daughter is here in Coronado, and our 8-yr-old grandson is nearby in Temecula (our son passed away 2 years ago). They just built a beautiful new pool and aquatics complex at CHS named in his memory - maybe we can have a pool party! My 3 sisters and step-brother are all back in Coronado, too, and my parents - it certainly feels like "Leave It To Beaver"-land at times! This reunion should be lots of fun, hope you all can make it! "Life is an adventure - enjoy the journey (and don't miss the sunsets!)" |
